705879427 | MDU6SXNzdWU3MDU4Nzk0Mjc= | 4446 | Add option to Pre-expand or collapse data and attributes in DataArray/Variable HTML repr. | aarondewindt 7420823 | closed | 0 | 1 | 2020-09-21T20:04:38Z | 2020-09-21T20:09:12Z | 2020-09-21T20:08:45Z | NONE | Version v0.16.0 changed the HTML repr of DataArrays such that the data and attributes are expanded by default (#4176). This is handy for most cases, but not always. In the project I'm currently working on I'm displaying a list of DataArrays so I can browse through them and having them all fully expanded clutters the notebook quite a bit. So I would like to introduce a new option to control this default state. Something we could set using the And before someone asks, a DataSet is not needed and wouldn't work in my case. The DataArrays have dimensions with the same name but different values in them. In this case the names are important since they are used later by other code. |
