Code Sample, a copy-pastable example if possible ```

Your code here

import xarray as xr rio = xr.open_rasterio(r'C:\DEV\B04_10m.tif') print(rio) rio.to_netcdf(r'C:\DEV\B04_10m.nc') ``` Problem description my files are in unit16, I got the error messages:

Traceback (most recent call last): ValueError: NetCDF 3 does not support type uint16

[this should explain why the current behavior is a problem and why the expected output is a better solution.]

Expected Output It should be able to save tif to netcdf, is there some process missing here?

Output of xr.show_versions()
