see the mode parameter of to_zarr

The default mode is “a” if append_dim is set. Otherwise, it is “r+” if region is set and w- otherwise.

If you pass mode="w", you should be able to write to disk even if the zarr file already exists.

However, since the common path means that tests are never truly isolated, I wonder if it would be better to create one temporary directory per test (using pytest's tmp_path fixture, for example) and write the dataset there?
