JFTR: The dimension has to be renamed to some generic name (`dim0`) in order to work with dask `apply_gufunc`. 

I think a shallow copy like `dask_gufunc_kwargs.copy()` would be sufficient in our case. But, as this need to be fixed, I'm sure a PR is welcome anyway.
