Interpolating/regridding is domain agnostic and would be extremely useful to many downstream packages (salem does some [regridding](http://salem.readthedocs.io/en/latest/gis.html#reprojecting-data) but it all happens on memory and uses scipy's ``RegularGridInterpolator`` under the hood).
