`pandas` behavior is more surprising

pd.Series(2)
# ok
pd.Series(x.mean())
# -> TypeError: len() of unsized object
pd.Series([x.mean()])
# -> dtype=object
# however for 1D x
pd.Series(x)
# dtype is fine
```
